Deblec was called to a failure of a dc drive on a canbus, PC controlled extrusion line after being told by the OEM that they no longer supported the system due to its age.
Deblec did a machine evaluation and found that the obsolete faulty drive was beyond economical repair, we supplied and installed a replacement Parker drive to put the machine quickly back in production, this took the pressure off the customer to continue with planned production.

Deblec was given the job to upgrade the ageing extruder and spent time over the next few weeks re designing the complete electrical system.

The design was centered around a Mitsubishi FX3U PLC and a number of FX-4-AD-TC units to control the temperature of each barrel zone interfaced with a 10″ Mitsubishi GOT2000 touch screen, offering PLC PID temperature control and on screen diagnostics, we also replaced both existing obsolete melt pressure transducer and hopper feeder motor drive.
